[I:http://www.bloggingtoolsdirect.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/BobbieMcKee1.jpg]Economic recession is taking its toll. A lot of Americans right now are feeling the heat of the tight times as more and more people are losing their jobs and losing their homes. High prices of gas and basic commodities are also making it harder for American families to survive without additional income.

During these times, people are thinking of ways on how to save up. This is especially true with families that support one or two or more children. Between feeding them and sending them all to school, these families will surely have to scrimp on some areas in order to survive.

But parents should not be the only ones who should be scrimping. When it comes to saving money during economic recession, their children can also play important roles. In fact, they can use these tight times to teach them children about saving for the future and saving money. This will help them deal with tighter times in the future should they experience it when they have families of their own. Below are some of the ways that you can teach your children about saving up.

1. Explain to them You may not realize it but kids do know what is going on and when you explain the situation to them clearly and with examples that they can relate to, they will be able to understand you. Some will even help out on their own volition without you telling them what they have to do.

Telling them why they should do something is more effective than telling them outright what they should do. The latter will sometimes antagonize them or will cause them to rebel as they feel that you are ordering them about without any reason. Kids, as you well know, do not want to be bossed about.

2. Give them piggy banks. Having coin banks may seem outdated in this digital age but it is nevertheless still effective in teaching kids how to save up. Tell them that saving up will allow them to have some money should they need to buy something that they want. A portion of their lunch money, for instance a quarter or two, is a good way to start.

Of course, do not discourage them to buy food when they need to eat but tell them though that if they are not hungry, they can save the money so that they can use more for the next day.

3. Get what they need Controlling what they put on their plates during dinner will help control the urge to get more than they can use. Ask them to clean their plates every time. That way, they will only get the food that they will be able to eat. This will teach them about saving and buying only the things that they need. This is a great training in the future so that they will not grow up with maxed out credit cards, buying things that they do not really need in the first place.

4. Being a role model Face it. Whatever your child does is only a reflection of what you yourself are doing at home. So if you want the kids to start saving up, make sure that you are also doing your part in saving in this times of economic recession.

How do you maximize your site?

By earning some money on each click from displaying Adsense ads on it. Many are now realizing that good money can be made from this source of revenue. Try the simple mathematical computation of multiplying those clicks for every page on your website, and you get a summation of earnings equivalent to a monthly residual income with little efforts made.

Google Adsense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant and text-based Google ads on their websites content pages and earn money in the process. The ads displayed are related to what your users are looking for on your site. This is the main reason why you can monetize and enhance your content pages using Adsense.

How much you will be earning depends on what the advertisers are willing to pay. It will also depend on the keywords required. If the keywords the advertiser has chosen are in high demand, you could receive more dollars per click. On the other hand, low demand keywords will earn you just a few cents per click.

How can you start making profits using Adsense?

1. Sign up for an Adsense account. It will only take a few minutes of your time.

2. When the site is accepted, you will be receiving a clip code to include in your web pages. You can insert this code on as many pages or web sites that you want. The AdWords will start appearing immediately after.

3. You will be earning a few cents or some dollars per click when someone starts clicking on the AdWords displayed on any of your web pages. Trying to earn false revenues by repetitively clicking on your own ads is a no-no. This will result in a penalty or the possibility of your site being eliminated. The money you have already earned may be lost because of this.

4. View your statistics. Adsense earnings can be checked anytime by logging into your web site account.

Once you got your account working, you may still want to pattern it to the many sites that are earning more money than you are. It is important to note that there are factors affecting how your website will perform and the amount of money it will give you.

It is very common that when a site is earning money, the owner wants to make more out of what they are getting already. It usually takes some time combined with trial and error to attain what you want for your Adsense sites.

Time and some important factors that you can practice and use.

How do you increase your Adsense earnings?

1. Choose one topic per page. It is best to write a content for your page with just a few targeted phrases. The search engine will then serve ads that are more relevant which will then result in higher clickthoughs.

2. Use white space around your ad. This can make your ad stand out from the rest of your page so visitors can spot them easily. There are also other choices of colors you can use, provided by search engines, which can harmonize the color of your ad with the web page color.

3. Test your ad placement. It is recommended to use the vertical format that runs down the side of the web page to get more positive results. You can also try both horizontal and vertical formats for a certain period of time to see which one will give you better results.

4. More content-based pages. Widen the theme of your website by creating pages that focus more on your keyword phrases. This will optimize the pages for the search engines. It cannot only attract traffic but also make them more relevant for the AdWords to be displayed.

5. Site Build It. This is the perfect tool to be used for creating lots of Adsense revenues. Site Build It has all the tools necessary to quickly achieve a keyword-rich site that can rank high in the search engines. This will also produce a flow of traffic to your site of highly targeted visitors.

Increase Your Adsense Cash

by Steve Blalock

Adsense is certainly making a huge impact on the affiliate marketing industry. Because of this, weak affiliate merchants have the tendency to die faster than ever and ad networks will lose their customers quickly. If you are losing rather than winning in the affiliate program you are currently into, maybe it is about time to consider going into the Adsense marketing program and start earning some real cash.

Google provides well written and highly relevant ads that are closely chosen to match the content on your pages. You do not have to look for them yourself as the search engine will do that for you from other people’s source.

You do not have to spend time in choosing different kinds of ads for different pages. Furthermore, there are no codes you have to deal with for different affiliate programs.

You will be able to concentrate on providing good and quality content, as the search engines will find the best ads to put on your pages.

You are still allowed to add Adsense ads even if you already have affiliate links on your site. However, it is prohibited to imitate the look and feel of the Google ads for your affiliate links.

Adsense allows you to filter up to 200 URLs. That gives you a chance to block ads for the sites that do not meet your guidelines. With this feature you can also block competitors. Keep in mind though that Adsense may be competing for some space on web sites that all other revenues are sharing.

Owners of small sites paste a bit of code into their sites and have instantly relevant text ads that will appeal to your visitors. If you own many sites, you only need to apply once. This is much more convenient than having to apply to many affiliate programs.

The only way to know how much you can earn is to try and see. If you want out, all you have to do is remove the code from your site.

The payment rates can vary extremely. The payment you will receive per click depends on how much advertisers are paying per click to advertise with the use of the AdWords. Advertisers can pay as little as 5 cents and as high as $10-12, or more. You are earning a share of that money generated.

If your results remain stagnant, try and build simple and uncluttered pages so that the ads can catch the visitors eyes more. It sometimes pays to differ from the usual things that people are doing already. It is also a refreshing sight for your visitor once they see something different for a change.

Publishers also have the option of choosing to have their ads displayed only on a certain site or sites. It is also allowed to have them displayed on a large network of sites. The choice would depend on what you think will work best.

It is important to note that you cannot choose certain topics. If you do this, the search engines will not place Adsense ads on your site, and you will misse out on a great opportunity making thousands of dollars.

It is still wise to look at other people’s website information and format your Adsense site from that. Just think about it as doing yourself a favor by not having to work too hard to know what content to have.

Topics to be avoided includes gambling, firearms, ammunition, tobacco, drugs and adult in nature. If you are being offered more cash in exchange of doing Adsense with these kinds, it is just like signing your own termination paper.

Secrets of Google Adsense Earners

Then you have the “Super AdSense” earners. We have all heard of them… the Elite few who are on track to make half a million dollars a year or more promoting AdSense sites.

Do not be mistaken though… these people are not building like your Mom and Pop’s do. They have systems in place that create sites for them… people who build sites for them… they have outsourced and automated many of the tedious tasks such as posting to blogs and searching for keywords.

While most people cannot emulate everything, these Super AdSense earners do… many of ityou can.

Here are 7 Required Steps you can implement today to copy their success.

1) Starting today… treat your AdSense business like it is a REAL business and track what you do.

Begin tracking what you are doing that works… as well as what you are doing that does not work. To know more go to www.guardadsense.com. This will keep you from making the same mistakes over and over, and you can repeat the steps that have worked in the past. As simple as this step seems… most people do not know the reason(s) to their success or failure.

2) Utilize the latest tools and software available.

The Super AdSense earners are not any smarter than your average person. I know many people think they are… but for the most part, they are regular non techie people.

They are smarter in one respect though… they use the latest tools available to them to automate most of the tasks involved with researching and creating sites. They use the latest keyword, site creation and search engine optimization tools available. The tools they use are their secret weapons.

3) Quit chasing the Mega Dollar keywords.

You cannot compete with the search engine experts who create sites for the $80 payout keywords. You may get lucky every now and then… but in the long run, you are better off building sites for the low to mid range payout keywords. The competition is less, and your chance of success is much higher over the long term.

4) Choose broad niches and break it down.

Choose a broad subject as your main theme (lets use computers for an example). From there… break it down into as many sub niches as possible.

Using Computers as an example… you could build sub niches/sites like laptop computers, computer hard drives, computer keyboards, etc, etc. You could literally build hundreds of sites around one major theme and stay totally focused. Once you have exhausted every possible sub niche of that major theme… choose another main theme and repeat the process.

5) KISS

Keep your sites easy to navigate and forget the fancy graphics that distract your visitors attention. Unless you are just building AdSense sites for the fun of it and to impress your friends… the purpose of having the site is to have people click on one of the ads, right? Then keep the site layout simple… dump the scrolling banners, dancing chickens and colored scroll bars… they are distractions.

6) What is the purpose of your web site?

Your web site cannot be everything to everybody. If you have a full fledged e-commerce site, with products for sale… links to other products, it is not a good site for AdSense. If the primary focus of the site is to sell products… let it do that.

Do not distract or confuse your visitor with to many options or choices. The best AdSense sites are AdSense only content sites that sell nothing. They are sites that “Tell”… not “Sell.”

7) Be consistent.

This is not one of those deals where you build one site, and you are done. Refer to Step #4. You must continuously build in order to be successful.

Think of it as planting a crop that you will harvest in a month or two, and the sites you build are seeds. Once the seeds have grown and matured… you will reap the harvest. The more seeds you plant… the larger the harvest.

To sum it up… utilize the tools available to automate as much of the process of building sites – doing research and building keyword lists as you can for more details you can login to www.instant-adsense-dollars.com. This alone will help keep you organized and on track. Be consistent in building… treat it like the business it is, and you will reap the rewards of your harvest.

Improve the Effectiveness of Your Adsense

by Michael Fleischner

Can you make a living on earning Adsense commissions? Adsense can be a great way to a few extra dollars each and every day, but is certainly not going to make you a ton of money. Ask website owners today about their earnings and you’ll find only a small handful is making a substantial income. I have learned how to increase my Adsense commissions over time and will share with you all I have learned.

What you earn via Adsense is based on a number of factors including which ads you display and where you display them on your website or blog. Here are some key factors to consider before you place your Adsense code. The first is ad placement. Certain locations on your page tend to be more successful than others. Google has documented the ideal placement of ads based on their network of advertisers. Ads located above the fold, tend to perform better than those below the fold. Ads placed near rich content and navigational aids usually do well because users are focused on those areas of a page and take action.

What is offered by Google as ideal placement is certainly useful as a guide. However, I strongly recommend that you consider the behavior of your users first prior to deciding proper ad position. Think about user behavior on different pages of your website or blog and what will be most functional to browsers and their navigation. Find what works and apply it to appropriate web pages.

For example, on pages where users are typically focused on reading an article, ads placed directly below the end of the editorial content tend to perform very well. It’s almost as if users finish reading and ask themselves, “What can I do next?” Precisely targeted ads can answer that question for them.

Ad format. Some types of ads do better than others depending on your content and layout. In my case, large rectangles in the middle of the content are best, while leader boards do not generate as much as income. Sky scrappers are the worst performers for me, especially if they are on the right-hand side of the page. This is somewhat counter-intuitive to what I had originally thought. Experiment and measure the results via channels and see which formats work best for you.

The color of your ads. When ads blend into your content, click through rates can be improved, but sometimes ads that contrast with your web site colors work best. To improve your results, test a variety of ad colors to determine if different palettes generate better results. Short of testing the actual palettes offered by Adsense, there is really no other way to determine ad effectiveness.

Number of ad units. Websites are generally permitted to display three ads, a search box, and a set of ad links. Keep in mind that you don’t have to display all available ad units. In fact, you should focus on placing ads in a way that do not clutter your web page. Users going to your page and reading your content may respond to a single ad placement if it is in the right place on your web page.

Experiment with the factors above and see which combination works best for your particular website. Remember that not all sites do well with Adsense ads. Even if you get lots of traffic but your visitors are not interested in looking for ways to spend their money, they won’t be interested in your ads and won’t click through.
