The key to getting targeted traffic to your site is to utilize all the tools that are available to draw prospects to your offering. You need more than a good product and pretty website to make money. You can spend a load of cash creating a well-designed site with a stellar sales copy, but you won’t make much money, unless you can get the right visitors to your website.

One very effective way to drive targeted traffic to your site is to use Google Adwords. Google Adwords puts your ad on the face of the largest search engine on the World Wide Web. Google ads appear at the right side of the search results page, so they are visible to everyone who searches for specific keywords.

It is both, effective and affordable. Best of all, it works by catching the attention of your target market and providing a link to your website.

Google Adwords is Google’s advertising services designed to attract targeted visitors to generate targeted traffic to your website. It is easy to get started. First, open an Adwords account with Google. Once you open your account, you will be asked to choose a country. This step ensures that your product or service is marketed according to your chosen demographics. You can even limit your ad placement to prospects that are in a specific geographical region. By limiting your exposure to the target market you desire, you can improve conversion rates.

You will also need to determine the “Cost per click.” Be very careful here. Although you may think it is ideal to be first on the page, you will get a lot of curiosity seekers who will click on your ad but may not buy your product. Sometimes, it might be better having an ad on the first page but in position two or below for higher conversion rates.

Adwords works on a bid system. You choose your targeted keywords, and you must determine how much you are willing to pay for them. One of the key features of Adwords is that you can choose your monthly budget. That way, you won’t be saddled with unexpected advertising fees that one cannot afford. Since you pay only when an ad is clicked on, you are only responsible for the direct traffic to your website. For instance, if you have set a budget of $50 a month, your fees stop once you have accumulated $50 of clicks. Therefore, you are in complete control of how much you spend.

Another important part of your Adwords campaign is choosing an effective title tag. The title tag is an eye-grabbing phrase that should attract the attention of your target market. It is more than a description. The purpose of the title tag is the same as any headline. It should be an attention-grabbing phrase that draws the readers’ eyes to your ad. Since Adwords are short, the objective is to get interested prospects to click on your website link at the end of the ad.

Google Adwords is a cost-effective strategy for drawing targeted customers to your website. This paid traffic method is more scalable than free traffic, and it is on demand. Whether you are new to Internet marketing or have a well-established business, Adwords can be your key to increasing conversion rates as you increase your targeted traffic.

by Steve Blalock

How do you maximize your site?

By earning some money on each click from displaying Adsense ads on it. Many are now realizing that good money can be made from this source of revenue. Try the simple mathematical computation of multiplying those clicks for every page on your website, and you get a summation of earnings equivalent to a monthly residual income with little efforts made.

Google Adsense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant and text-based Google ads on their websites content pages and earn money in the process. The ads displayed are related to what your users are looking for on your site. This is the main reason why you can monetize and enhance your content pages using Adsense.

How much you will be earning depends on what the advertisers are willing to pay. It will also depend on the keywords required. If the keywords the advertiser has chosen are in high demand, you could receive more dollars per click. On the other hand, low demand keywords will earn you just a few cents per click.

How can you start making profits using Adsense?

1. Sign up for an Adsense account. It will only take a few minutes of your time.

2. When the site is accepted, you will be receiving a clip code to include in your web pages. You can insert this code on as many pages or web sites that you want. The AdWords will start appearing immediately after.

3. You will be earning a few cents or some dollars per click when someone starts clicking on the AdWords displayed on any of your web pages. Trying to earn false revenues by repetitively clicking on your own ads is a no-no. This will result in a penalty or the possibility of your site being eliminated. The money you have already earned may be lost because of this.

4. View your statistics. Adsense earnings can be checked anytime by logging into your web site account.

Once you got your account working, you may still want to pattern it to the many sites that are earning more money than you are. It is important to note that there are factors affecting how your website will perform and the amount of money it will give you.

It is very common that when a site is earning money, the owner wants to make more out of what they are getting already. It usually takes some time combined with trial and error to attain what you want for your Adsense sites.

Time and some important factors that you can practice and use.

How do you increase your Adsense earnings?

1. Choose one topic per page. It is best to write a content for your page with just a few targeted phrases. The search engine will then serve ads that are more relevant which will then result in higher clickthoughs.

2. Use white space around your ad. This can make your ad stand out from the rest of your page so visitors can spot them easily. There are also other choices of colors you can use, provided by search engines, which can harmonize the color of your ad with the web page color.

3. Test your ad placement. It is recommended to use the vertical format that runs down the side of the web page to get more positive results. You can also try both horizontal and vertical formats for a certain period of time to see which one will give you better results.

4. More content-based pages. Widen the theme of your website by creating pages that focus more on your keyword phrases. This will optimize the pages for the search engines. It cannot only attract traffic but also make them more relevant for the AdWords to be displayed.

5. Site Build It. This is the perfect tool to be used for creating lots of Adsense revenues. Site Build It has all the tools necessary to quickly achieve a keyword-rich site that can rank high in the search engines. This will also produce a flow of traffic to your site of highly targeted visitors.

Adsense is certainly making a huge impact on the affiliate marketing industry. Because of this, weak affiliate merchants have the tendency to die faster than ever and ad networks will lose their customers quickly. If you are losing rather than winning in the affiliate program you are currently into, maybe it is about time to consider going into the Adsense marketing program and start earning some real cash.

Google provides well written and highly relevant ads that are closely chosen to match the content on your pages. You do not have to look for them yourself as the search engine will do that for you from other people’s source.

You do not have to spend time in choosing different kinds of ads for different pages. Furthermore, there are no codes you have to deal with for different affiliate programs.

You will be able to concentrate on providing good and quality content, as the search engines will find the best ads to put on your pages.

You are still allowed to add Adsense ads even if you already have affiliate links on your site. However, it is prohibited to imitate the look and feel of the Google ads for your affiliate links.

Adsense allows you to filter up to 200 URLs. That gives you a chance to block ads for the sites that do not meet your guidelines. With this feature you can also block competitors. Keep in mind though that Adsense may be competing for some space on web sites that all other revenues are sharing.

Owners of small sites paste a bit of code into their sites and have instantly relevant text ads that will appeal to your visitors. If you own many sites, you only need to apply once. This is much more convenient than having to apply to many affiliate programs.

The only way to know how much you can earn is to try and see. If you want out, all you have to do is remove the code from your site.

The payment rates can vary extremely. The payment you will receive per click depends on how much advertisers are paying per click to advertise with the use of the AdWords. Advertisers can pay as little as 5 cents and as high as $10-12, or more. You are earning a share of that money generated.

If your results remain stagnant, try and build simple and uncluttered pages so that the ads can catch the visitors eyes more. It sometimes pays to differ from the usual things that people are doing already. It is also a refreshing sight for your visitor once they see something different for a change.

Publishers also have the option of choosing to have their ads displayed only on a certain site or sites. It is also allowed to have them displayed on a large network of sites. The choice would depend on what you think will work best.

It is important to note that you cannot choose certain topics. If you do this, the search engines will not place Adsense ads on your site, and you will misse out on a great opportunity making thousands of dollars.

It is still wise to look at other people’s website information and format your Adsense site from that. Just think about it as doing yourself a favor by not having to work too hard to know what content to have.

Topics to be avoided includes gambling, firearms, ammunition, tobacco, drugs and adult in nature. If you are being offered more cash in exchange of doing Adsense with these kinds, it is just like signing your own termination paper.

Then you have the “Super AdSense” earners. We have all heard of them… the Elite few who are on track to make half a million dollars a year or more promoting AdSense sites.

Do not be mistaken though… these people are not building like your Mom and Pop’s do. They have systems in place that create sites for them… people who build sites for them… they have outsourced and automated many of the tedious tasks such as posting to blogs and searching for keywords.

While most people cannot emulate everything, these Super AdSense earners do… many of ityou can.

Here are 7 Required Steps you can implement today to copy their success.

1) Starting today… treat your AdSense business like it is a REAL business and track what you do.

Begin tracking what you are doing that works… as well as what you are doing that does not work. To know more go to www.guardadsense.com. This will keep you from making the same mistakes over and over, and you can repeat the steps that have worked in the past. As simple as this step seems… most people do not know the reason(s) to their success or failure.

2) Utilize the latest tools and software available.

The Super AdSense earners are not any smarter than your average person. I know many people think they are… but for the most part, they are regular non techie people.

They are smarter in one respect though… they use the latest tools available to them to automate most of the tasks involved with researching and creating sites. They use the latest keyword, site creation and search engine optimization tools available. The tools they use are their secret weapons.

3) Quit chasing the Mega Dollar keywords.

You cannot compete with the search engine experts who create sites for the $80 payout keywords. You may get lucky every now and then… but in the long run, you are better off building sites for the low to mid range payout keywords. The competition is less, and your chance of success is much higher over the long term.

4) Choose broad niches and break it down.

Choose a broad subject as your main theme (lets use computers for an example). From there… break it down into as many sub niches as possible.

Using Computers as an example… you could build sub niches/sites like laptop computers, computer hard drives, computer keyboards, etc, etc. You could literally build hundreds of sites around one major theme and stay totally focused. Once you have exhausted every possible sub niche of that major theme… choose another main theme and repeat the process.

5) KISS

Keep your sites easy to navigate and forget the fancy graphics that distract your visitors attention. Unless you are just building AdSense sites for the fun of it and to impress your friends… the purpose of having the site is to have people click on one of the ads, right? Then keep the site layout simple… dump the scrolling banners, dancing chickens and colored scroll bars… they are distractions.

6) What is the purpose of your web site?

Your web site cannot be everything to everybody. If you have a full fledged e-commerce site, with products for sale… links to other products, it is not a good site for AdSense. If the primary focus of the site is to sell products… let it do that.

Do not distract or confuse your visitor with to many options or choices. The best AdSense sites are AdSense only content sites that sell nothing. They are sites that “Tell”… not “Sell.”

7) Be consistent.

This is not one of those deals where you build one site, and you are done. Refer to Step #4. You must continuously build in order to be successful.

Think of it as planting a crop that you will harvest in a month or two, and the sites you build are seeds. Once the seeds have grown and matured… you will reap the harvest. The more seeds you plant… the larger the harvest.

To sum it up… utilize the tools available to automate as much of the process of building sites – doing research and building keyword lists as you can for more details you can login to www.instant-adsense-dollars.com. This alone will help keep you organized and on track. Be consistent in building… treat it like the business it is, and you will reap the rewards of your harvest.

Basically anyone who can type can be a writer if he can manage to stay focused. Ebooks have become very popular and mostly they are more affordable than actual books. An indepth computer book might be sold for $75, but an ebook covering the same material could be sold for $25. Does the money sound good to you? Well, if so, write your own Ebook! If you want to earn a large sum of money online, writing ebooks is certainly not a bad way to go.

How to start off and write your Ebook

1) Revisit your old grammar days. Brush up on your sentence structure, grammar and punctuation skills. Even if that means doing some research online so that you can write properly. Read as much as possible and study other people’s writing styles. It can give you options, and let you see into the eyes of other writers.

2) Make your outline. This a great way to get a feel for what you are going to be writing. Creating an outline is what every rich author has done in their past. It is a sure fire way to write a great book and has been proven time and again.

3) Even if you think you already know everything there is to know, be willing to do research on your topic. It never hurts to know more than you did before, and the truth of it is that you will broaden your knowledge no matter you do with it. I’m sure you have heard that knowledge is power!

4) Name your price. A lot of people want to charge outrageous prices for only a few tips and tricks. Perhaps they’ll make a sale or too, but that’s it. Try having more information for a lower price. Yes, the profit on each sale is lower, but there will be a greater number of buyers! More buyers on a lower price are better than few buyers on a more expensive price. It goes without saying that you’ll want to put as much valuable information as you can into your ebook. If you make the buy worth their time, they will come back to you for more.

5) Write the Ebook. Make sure while doing so, you incorporate photos as well. Citing resources is also great as it gives more value to your readers. Your customers want to feel like you was the one getting ripped off, not them. Therefore, while writing your Ebook, put a lot of efforts into it as well and make sure that it makes sense! Don’t trail off a topic as you are writing. Most people hate it. It will definitely give you bad reviews.

6) Get some help. After you are done writing the ebook, perhaps get some sleep. The next day or two days later, go and edit it. If you do it as soon as you are done with the writing, you will likely end up missing many errors. It’s not a bad idea to get a little professional help with the editing and revisions. Your content is very important, and how it is written is just as important as what’s being written. If the writing doesn’t flow and your readers can’t follow you, it turns out to be a waste of your time and theirs.

Can you make a living on earning Adsense commissions? Adsense can be a great way to a few extra dollars each and every day, but is certainly not going to make you a ton of money. Ask website owners today about their earnings and you’ll find only a small handful is making a substantial income. I have learned how to increase my Adsense commissions over time and will share with you all I have learned.

What you earn via Adsense is based on a number of factors including which ads you display and where you display them on your website or blog. Here are some key factors to consider before you place your Adsense code. The first is ad placement. Certain locations on your page tend to be more successful than others. Google has documented the ideal placement of ads based on their network of advertisers. Ads located above the fold, tend to perform better than those below the fold. Ads placed near rich content and navigational aids usually do well because users are focused on those areas of a page and take action.

What is offered by Google as ideal placement is certainly useful as a guide. However, I strongly recommend that you consider the behavior of your users first prior to deciding proper ad position. Think about user behavior on different pages of your website or blog and what will be most functional to browsers and their navigation. Find what works and apply it to appropriate web pages.

For example, on pages where users are typically focused on reading an article, ads placed directly below the end of the editorial content tend to perform very well. It’s almost as if users finish reading and ask themselves, “What can I do next?” Precisely targeted ads can answer that question for them.

Ad format. Some types of ads do better than others depending on your content and layout. In my case, large rectangles in the middle of the content are best, while leader boards do not generate as much as income. Sky scrappers are the worst performers for me, especially if they are on the right-hand side of the page. This is somewhat counter-intuitive to what I had originally thought. Experiment and measure the results via channels and see which formats work best for you.

The color of your ads. When ads blend into your content, click through rates can be improved, but sometimes ads that contrast with your web site colors work best. To improve your results, test a variety of ad colors to determine if different palettes generate better results. Short of testing the actual palettes offered by Adsense, there is really no other way to determine ad effectiveness.

Number of ad units. Websites are generally permitted to display three ads, a search box, and a set of ad links. Keep in mind that you don’t have to display all available ad units. In fact, you should focus on placing ads in a way that do not clutter your web page. Users going to your page and reading your content may respond to a single ad placement if it is in the right place on your web page.

Experiment with the factors above and see which combination works best for your particular website. Remember that not all sites do well with Adsense ads. Even if you get lots of traffic but your visitors are not interested in looking for ways to spend their money, they won’t be interested in your ads and won’t click through.

If you know nothing about the webmaster world but still desire to create a website that is eligible for Google’s Adsense program, there are some basic things that you must know. Many people get overzealous and actually apply to the Adsense program before they know enough about the pay per click revenue form to even know what they are doing! But before you take the wrong step and try to apply to Google’s Adsense program and get rejected, the basic things that you should know are also the principles and rules of the Adsense program that can be easily overlooked, either by accident or on purpose!

What is Google Adsense, exactly? This is the first question that you should know the answer to; however, if you can’t answer this, then you may require a little more studying before venturing out and creating a website that you like. Google Adsense is essentially a program that advertises for you by giving you a piece of code that is placed on your website. This code is full of other companies’ advertising space. For example, you could get Adsense to advertise Nike, Adidas, or some other major retail company. On the other hand, you could also get ads that display third-party advertising or even ads for other revenue-stream products. Whatever ad that is placed on your website is in some way related to the website that you have made. For example, if your website is about colleges and financial aid then you will probably find colleges being advertised on your website. If you are selling a product related to cosmetics, then you will probably have cosmetic ads on your website.

Once you realize this basic principle of advertising that is related to your own website, it should be easier for you to come up with an idea for a website that will easily be accepted by Google’s Adsense. Another point of focus that you should realize is that Adsense will be able to read your website more easily if there are plenty of keywords. A keyword is basically a word or a phrase that is used repeatedly throughout the website. If you do not have a good amount of keywords on your website then the chances that you’ll have related ads by Adsense on your website are low. However, the opposite is true, because if you have a good keyword density, then you will probably be successful in getting approved by Google’s Adsense, thereby creating large amounts of traffic and revenue!

Google itself actually has a website of their own dedicated to explaining their advertising and pay per click revenue program to those who may want to apply for it. Take time to read through what Adsense requires before you assume that your website will be accepted! Even though the majority of people who apply to the Adsense program get accepted, reading through the program specifics of Google’s Adsense is crucial to the formation of not only your business, but whether or not you will be ultimately successful with Adsense on your website!

For many webmasters, Google AdSense has become a great revenue generator. Since the program pays the webmaster every time a visitor of their website clicks on the ads that Google displays in their web pages, the same has become a truly viable and profitable option to earn a living online. As a matter of fact, there are countless webmasters who have dropped their day jobs so that they could focus on the AdSense program. They build dozens and dozens of websites, all of which carry their AdSense code, hoping to generate amazing earnings from such an approach. After all, if one website can generate $25 per month (a low average at that), how much could 100 websites be able to produce for the webmaster?

But success with the Google AdSense program is contingent on three things:

1. Cost Per Click (CPC) attached to the ads that will be displayed;
2. Page impressions, or the number of people who will get to visit the website; and
3. Click Through Rate (CTR), or the ratio of people who will click on the ads vis a vis page impressions.

The CPC can be approximated by checking out the going rate of the keyword to be targeted before building a website. The resource that can be found at is an excellent tool to help anyone in determining the possible CPC for certain search words or phrases.

The CTR can be improved by arranging the AdSense blocks in a manner that would make them look like organic parts of the website.

But page impressions would be a little more difficult to achieve.

Page impressions are actually equivalent to what is generally known as web traffic. Web traffic of course refers to the volume of users who manages to load up a particular page of your website. It has been said that traffic is the lifeblood of any online venture and this couldn’t be truer for websites that earn via Pay Per Click (PPC) programs.

In a nutshell, the success of your Google AdSense campaign would depend on the volume of traffic you’ll be able to generate for your website, or websites.

You could try a lot of marketing tactics, but often these strategies take time to gestate. Additionally, each and every competitor of yours would be trying out the same techniques, and there is no real guarantee about how much traffic you could derive from them.

This has led many webmasters to try out PPC advertising for their PPC earning campaigns. The way it goes is that they will advertise their websites through Google AdWords. Google will then display their links the way it displays AdSense ads. The webmasters who decide to take this route would then have to pay Google every time a user clicks on the ads that lead to their websites.

How do these webmasters earn, when they’re supposed to spend for every click?

Well, most of them build websites that are exclusively made up of AdSense ads. Hence, whenever a user is led to their pages, he’d have no choice but to click on the relevant ads that appear therein.

There are some webmasters, on the other hand, who rely on the strength of their content. They use AdWords to expose their websites to people, hoping that those very users would love what they’ll see, and they’ll keep coming back every now and then.

There are pros and cons to this strategy. However, let’s take a look at the advantages first.

You will attain guaranteed traffic.
You will attain highly targeted traffic. Since your visitors will be composed of people who are interested with the subject of you website, there is a higher likelihood that they will click on the ads that would appear on your pages.
You will only have to pay for the traffic that your website would receive. Nothing more, nothing less.

But it’s not rosy for this approach. Here are the disadvantages.

You’d have to spend.
There is no guarantee that you’ll be able to recoup your financial investments.
Google is cracking down on websites that are merely composed of AdSense ad blocks. If you opt to use this approach and your website is composed exclusively of AdSense ads, chances are, your website would get de-indexed and your AdSense account would get suspended if Google catches you.

The best way to go is to rely on the strength of your website. Prepare unique, premium content and hook your visitors with the same. Content is king in the World Wide Web after all.

If you decide to use AdWords to get some traffic, make sure you have a mailing list in place to capture their contact details and ensure for yourself some repeat visitors. PPD advertising should only be used to gain initial traffic, until your other marketing strategies would finally produce the desired results.

If you have heard about the many people all across the world generating revenue by having Google Adsense on your website, you are not alone! If you are someone who wants to mimic this process of creating an Adsense Empire but simply do not know enough to do so, then you are not alone either! However, if you have been with Adsense for awhile and know that in order to create an Adsense Empire websites upon websites are needed, you are just now starting to get the hang of creating an excellent revenue stream with Google’s Adsense. This article is meant for the beginner as well as the amateur and Google Adsense expert who think they know everything about creating an empire filled with Google’s Adsense advertising.

The first thing you should realize about Adsense is that it only accepts a website that is easily readable and has a high potential to gain revenue through its website. Of course, there are many websites that have a high potential of being a big money maker, but the ones that are creatively and uniquely designed to make the website stand out among the rest will have an even higher chance of making money. Although once you have created a website, applied to Google Adsense, been accepted, and have been generating revenue for several months, you are well on your way to creating your very own Google Adsense Empire.

One way to be very popular with Google Adsense is to have many websites that are creatively designed towards consumers and those that are interested in the information that you have to share on your website. The more people that you get interested in your website, the more traffic you receive, and thus, the higher your revenue is through Adsense. What you eventually do with this revenue is up to you, but one way you can use the revenue is to create other advertising revenue income forms through Adsense.

With the money that you create through Adsense you will have enough capital to take and create more websites. For this aspect of creating your Adsense Empire, you have several options. You can either find a whole other niche and start creating hundreds of websites devoted to that, or you can create hundreds of website pages devoted to the niche you have already developed with your first Adsense website. There are advantages and disadvantages to each, and you must consider each pro and con carefully before going on. One benefit of having websites with different niches is that you will diversify your websites, making them spread out among search engines and the population who want the information that you are placing on the net.

By following these steps along with the ones that you have already taken to be successful with Adsense, you place yourself in a very good position to create multiple Adsense revenue streams through the websites that you are creating. Creating an Adsense Empire should be your ultimate goal, and by doing so you will enable yourself to create even more profit with Google’s Adsense!

There are many programs out there that aim to give you the best advertising program for your websites. Some of the programs include Google’s Adsense, Yahoo! Publisher Network, Adbrite, and Bidvertiser. These programs and companies are essentially competing for your websites, and they are all aimed at giving you the most advertising that you can get. Once you get the advertising from these companies and receive traffic, these pay-per-click companies receive more revenue from the people that are targeted towards their ads. Although the basic service that these companies offer webmasters is basically the same, there are a few differences that you will notice when you begin to sign up with several of these companies.

Although Google’s Adsense may be the pay-per-click program that webmasters may be most familiar with because they were one of the very first to actually advertise towards webmasters for their advertising program, the other companies continue to gain strength and are on the upswing throughout the industry. One unique issue with Google’s Adsense is that before you are able to display the Adsense on your website you must fill out a detailed application. Even though more often than not the websites that apply are accepted to have Adsense displayed on their site, the application process alone might deter people from applying for Adsense. But on the other hand, Google Adsense’s application process is a good way to tell if the website you are trying to generate revenue for will actually be a good candidate for their program. By looking at your webisite, Google will be able to tell if you will be able to gain a lot of traffic through it’s program.

But after your website is accepted for Adsense, the rest is pretty simply. You are given a little strip of code to put on your website that will display the advertisers ads so that your traffic that you receive will be inclined to click on them and order from them.

However, Adsense will display ads on your website for almost anything that you have displayed. The Adsense program reads your websites and deciphers which ads would be best to display. One pay per click revenue program that has a different system is Adbrite. Adbrite’s system is actually more targeted to those who are interested in buying products. In other words, you may be better off using Adbrite if you are selling something more than if you just wanted to present an informational website. Bidvertiser, if one is so inclined to sign up with them, will give other revenue-generating programs a run for their money! The main way that they are different from the other companies is that they give you a larger or smaller amount for each of your traffic’s clicks through your website. This amount is determined by the way your website is designed. If you have a uniquely designed website then you will definitely win with Bidvertiser; however, if you have a dull website that doesn’t have a lot of information, then you might be better off not using Bidvertiser!

The Yahoo! Publisher Network is a different pay per click program altogether! This program would probably be the best for beginners in the pay per click and advertising revenue industry if they knownothing more than what these companies will do for you. The reason that YPN is suggested for beginners is because that it will allow you to create a free website from Yahoo’s system if you do not have one. So you can build your website, have it hosted by Yahoo!, and receive their advertising program on the same network! For beginners, this takes a lot of the confusion out of the mix of where to host, what your domain name should be, and what they should have on their website. Yahoo’s system gives you everything all in one for the beginner webmaster!

All of these companies, however, are designed to generate revenue for you while making your website stand out and quietly run in the background. Signing up with more than one of these pay per click programs is actually a good technique to use because you are receiving revenue from more than one source! But carefully examining the single best revenue-generating company to stick with is of utmost importance, whether it be Google’s Adsense, YPN, Bidvertiser, or Adbrite!
