If you have a website of your own I can pretty much guess your answer is yes, that you have in fact heard of the new Google panda update, and if you don’t have a website, there is still a very good chance you have also heard about this change to SEO (search engine optimization.) No doubt, every website owner would love to have his or her website to achieve a great search engine ranking. That way when someone types in certain key words that happen to be about what your website is promoting, the best case scenario would be that your site would come up on the first page of Google searches. There are people who will continue past the first page of search results to find what they are looking for, but as we know, there are many impatient people who want what they want – now!
Search engines such as Google have the responsibility to find out the legitimacy of each website and then rank them in view of that. The purpose for that is so that people can find quality results that they are searching for online. Read the rest of this entry

Just what exactly is a blog and how do people make money blogging?, you may be asking yourself, if this is all new to you, or perhaps you’ve just heard about it and wonder what it is all about. I consider myself to be pretty online business and marketing savvy, yet honestly the word blog is still a bit foggy to me, so I decided to start doing some research on this seemingly quite popular online activity. At first glance it appears to me that there are some who are making a very decent income with blogging while in contrast, others were delighted to be making a few dollars here and there with it. I thought for sure they were just being sarcastic, yet it actually seemed that they were being honest. Perhaps they had never made a penny online thus the elation?! I read a few comments that were ones like “I was so happy I made $1.83 last month!”
Sorry but I can’t stop laughing. I mean really, less than $2.00 in a month and that person wants to throw a party?! If I were to ever consider learning to make money blogging, I would first of all be sure I found out everything those couple-dollars-a-month people did wrong or just were too lazy to do, and then diligently study and learn from the ones who are making at least a grand or more per month on a consistent basis. I am guessing you have probably either heard or read quite a bit about the infamous “lists” that network marketers often refer to and if not don’t worry; you will have a better understanding of it by the end of this article. I have been in networking marketing and home-based businesses and such for quite some years now and cannot even begin to count the number of times I have heard about list building; and honestly I didn’t have much of a clue what people were talking about, just that they had some special kind of list building that helped them make (or supposedly make) tons of money. One business associate I personally know used to talk about her list all the time and how she had hundreds of people on it – or was it thousands?! I just know that finally I got frustrated with her and her success stories, so I would jokingly say “well it is because of your LIST!” She had a very intelligent come-back that shut me up, which was “I had to work for years on this list…did you think I was born with it?!” Read the rest of this entry
It can be said without doubt that list building is still the heart and soul of Internet marketing, and the saying “The money is in the list” has not lost its importance. It is a fact that marketing to existing customers is considerably easier than getting new ones. Once you have established a relationship with your subscribers, you will definitely realize the great benefit of having a list which will allow you as a marketer to contact your customers repeatedly, introducing special offers and making some sales. Still, there is certainly a question most people starting in Internet marketing are having in their minds: What is the right basic list building process, what do I need and how to build an email list at all? Setting up an opt-in list can be a bit of a difficult task initially as well as it is quite important to understand that in order to become successful in email marketing you have to set up your campaigns properly right from the start.
When you have an opt-in list you can use it to drive instant traffic to websites provided it’s suitable for your targeted subscribers. The advantage is you can do this without difficulty any time you want or need traffic. And it is free traffic with no need for writing lots of articles or making numerous forum and blog posts. Always bear in mind, building an email list means creating a valuable asset. In other words, you are actually investing in your future. Read the rest of this entry
You have surely noticed by now that one can generate serious money through email marketing. A proven strategy is to offer a small reasonably priced product, then you collect the buyer’s email address. Further on you will use this list to market to its subscribers additional products, which most likely have a higher price tag. The point here is that those people who have bought from you before, have confidence in you and might buy from you again. However, like always, there are two email marketing strategies available, a good one and a bad one.
Don’t assume that because someone has subscribed to your list, in fact, indicates that he or she would like to hear from you daily. And this applies to emails containing solely good content as well. Mailing out emails with excellent and beneficial content on a weekly base might be a better idea. Quality is the key issue here, not quantity.
Ensure that you provide much more to your subscribers than just hard selling something. The more practical help and tips (and maybe the occasional freebie) they will receive, the more likely it will be that they will buy from you again in the future. All this will show that you actually care about your customers. It is true, that it might be quite tempting, including a couple of affiliate links in each email. Then again, don’t be tempted, stay with the strategies that you know will work. Read the rest of this entry
