In order to be a profitable online marketer it is imperative for your sites to obtain top rankings for organic search results in Google. If you don’t know what organic search results are, essentially they are the websites that come up on the left hand side when you run a search on google, and they are absolutely free.

Google usually reserves the top positions in its organic results for websites with high quality content that is related to whatever keywords you are searching for. Google hasspiders that travel the Internet indexing websites. All the data they collect go into an algorithm that assists google in ranking these sites.

Utilizing SEO (Search Engine Optimization) techniques can give you a leg up on the competition. There are 2 separate forms of SEO tactics. There is onsite SEO, SEO done to the site itself and offsite SEO, building back links and rss feeds for your site. In this article I will give you a few tips for onsite SEO.

During your blog or website creation process, you should always make sure that the title for your blog or header of your website contains the keywords you want to rank for. For instance, I optimized my blog, for Attraction Marketing Coach. As you can see those keywords are in the title of this blog.

Secondly, your text throughout your pages should be keyword rich, meaning you should be sure to include your keyword and spread it throughout the content. Don’t overdo it to the point that it doesn’t make sense. Be sure it is strategically placed and the content flows.

Lastly, whenever you make a new post to your blog, do keyword research and find a keyword for your subject that has a lot of searches but little competition and put that keyword as close to the first of the title of your post as you can. Again, make the text of your post keyword rich as well. Also, when creating the meta tags for your post make sure you include several of these high search, low competition keywords. When you do this you might even rank for keywords you were not even optimizing for.
